Photos from a 1949 GI album showing the Rycom Military Stockade near Kadena. The inside cover of the album had an interesting set of B-Yen currency glued to it. The B-yen was the money used on Okinawa at that time.

The 557th Military Police Company was designated on 9 May 1949 as the 557th Military Police Guard Company
