YONABARU NAVAL AIR STATION
1945-1946

Photos showing some of the construction of Yonabaru airfield, which later became Yonabaru Naval Air Station. The second set of photos is actually a Yonabaru Naval Air Base souvenir booklet that was produced on 8x10 photographic paper, as it appears they had no printing equipment to print a booklet with photos in it. The cover photo showing the Futema (Futenma) shrine was very dark so I printed it out as a separate photo next to the cover.
